This one piece scope mount comprises the ease of installation and the rigidity required to meet all the demands of one of the world's classic hunting rifles. It's said that in Canada there have been more moose brought down with the 303 Lee Enfield then all other rifles combined. This brought on by the vast availability and low cost of the Enfield after WWII. The stock sighting system of the Enfield is thought by many to be more then sufficient for most applications but mounting an average scope on you 303 will give you a hard hitting 600 yard gun with the reliability and accuracy of a rifle many times its price point. The weaver style rail of our mount gives a wide range of possibilities for positioning your scope while still keeping the shell ejection path completely free of obstruction with a typical 50mm scope. The unique design allows for the bolt to be completely removed when the scope mount is in place making it completely unnecessary for the mount to ever be removed once it is installed.
